Weds 2nd Oct: 42 September adoptions

Sponsor beautiful Rag through the Lifesaver Club
It's a special event for me to have two consecutive days off and it gives me the opportunity to do things for my Lamma dogs, such as handing out the monthly heartworm prevention and giving another long-haired dog a "trouser trim", this time Smartie.   All Lamma dogs are available for monthly sponsorship if not already "taken", and giving a Lifesaver Club dog your support means the annual costs of his or her care are covered.  Please contact Ellen at lifesaver@hongkongdogrescue.com for information about the options available if you would like to sponsor any of our long-term HKDR dogs.

Google has left for a trial with the resident dog
I mentioned poodle girl Google yesterday, and she left for a trial with an existing dog in what will be a lovely home if she's accepted.  We're expecting six new smaller dogs to arrive on Monday including another poodle, and while I have seen photos I don't have any details of age or gender yet so watch this space for updates.

Kathy totalled the number of lucky dogs and puppies adopted during September, and the forty two named doesn't include some (like puppy Radar) whose paperwork is still being completed. Thank you to everyone who chose to save a life rather than buy, and for those who are still looking please keep checking my blog and our website for available dogs.  Puppies aren't included on the website as they grow and change so quickly, but you can always take a look at the Sunday photos from Whiskers N Paws or just let us know what you're looking for.  I always say we rarely have purebreed puppies, but right now we do have the two husky babies Oslo and Helsinki, and smaller pups in foster homes.
