Sun 6th Oct: A small Sunday gathering

Chester and Dorothy are both lovely doglets, but together they are perfect
We only had a few puppies at Whiskers N Paws this time, not wanting to risk anyone coming from the New Territories being stuck trying to get home, so I can mention each one individually.  Our regular volunteer photographer Jimmy Tsang was there to record the event beautifully, especially the two older puppies playing outside in the rain Puppy Adoption Day 6 October 2019.  Dorothy and Chester meet every Sunday and from the very first encounter hit it off and are now best friends and playmates. We're all wishing they could find a home together so the games can continue for life, and who knows, maybe they will be that lucky.
Sugar is sweet like her name
Scrumpy is a happy boy

The three other older puppies are Scrumpy, Melanie and Sugar (with the amazing ears), while Zara, Zena and Maddie are the smaller ones.   Youngster Cracker also made his first appearance, and it was the first time I'd even seen any of the litter as they'd gone straight to foster homes and five have been adopted without ever having had to attend an adoption event.   Cracker is gorgeous, though a little bit bigger than I'd expected him to be.

The dog I took from AFCD on Friday has transformed into a sweet and happy boy at Tai Po, just as I hoped he would.  It's tragic that so many dogs are misjudged by their fear, and that means death for them so I'm glad that I can save at least some that would normally die.
Socks is a changed dog now he's at Tai Po
