Gorgeous little Cracker is planning to come to Whiskers N Paws |
At the moment the intention is that the Whiskers N Paws afternoon will take place but with fewer puppies than usual, and not those that need to be brought by their foster families living further out. However we will be cutting the hours to 2pm to 4pm to allow for everyone to get home afterwards.
Baxter's stay at Whiskers N Paws only lasted a week |
However there is good news to counter the bad, and that is that older puppy Baxter, who had moved in with Scrumpy at Whiskers N Paws last Sunday following the adoption of Farley, was himself adopted today. Puppy Sugar will probably move in to take Baxter's place unless she too is adopted on Sunday.
Sugar and her amazing ears |
Also heading off for a trial together were two Tai Po dogs, one an older puppy who just recently moved there from Whiskers N Paws and the second a young adult, and as always I won't mention names until - and assuming - their adoptions are confirmed.
Bali has already made herself at home watching a "dogumentary" on TV |
Also moving to a new home was collie-cross Bali, who had already been adopted but didn't get along with the other ex-HKDR dog in the home (although the cats were no problem). In the end we agreed that it would be better for Bali to find a new family, and she was the perfect choice for this particular home.
At least it shows that whatever is happening on the streets life goes on, and of course both of our Homing Centres are open every day without fail.
