Tues 15th Oct: Puppies on the move

Pixel spent a few weeks on Lamma
As part of my Master Plan for eventually drastically reducing the number of dogs that live with me on Lamma, I haven't brought any puppies back to my home for some time.  This was also necessary when blind dog Roley was still around as he thought puppies were squeaky toys (with tragic consequences), and the final straw was the demolition of a whole area during last year's typhoon Manghut.  However during the recent viral outbreak which affected a lot of puppies, I ended up bringing a few shy ones back home until they were fully vaccinated and could be sent to Tai Po for socialisation.  A couple had already been moved to Ap Lei Chau, like Feta, who has adjusted very well and is a happy and friendly girl now.
Brie is the most confidemt of the four

Today was the perfect opportunity for making the transfer of the remaining four as the HKDR van wasn't needed by either of the Homing Centres, so driver Ming was available to pick up the puppies and take them to Tai Po in the early afternoon. Now Brie (who had been Feta's kennel mate at AFCD), Pixel, Simon and Dorito will start their own training programme and will hopefully also become "normal" doglets and ready for adoption.
