Weds 15th June: No longer an ugly duckling

Penny and Domino have been together since they were young pups
It was all about fosters today and sending them over to Ap Lei Chau from Lamma for collection. Penny and Domino went together, and while it's only a short-term staycation it's still very much worth it so we can have a full assessment of their behaviour and character in a real home.

Tim went to a foster home on Sunday while 2 lookalike brothers were taken today

Two puppies with tick fever (luckily not too serious) went together to another foster home after their brother, Tim, was fostered on Sunday.  Now there's just one puppy brother left from that litter needing a temporary place to stay.

New baby Crumple
There was very good news from one foster home as Trixie had her adoption confirmed after a short trial period with now-sister Gladys, who started life as Crumple, a singleton almost-newborn.  I gave her that name because her tiny face was crumpled and not too pretty, and I was honestly afraid that she would never be the ugly duckling who turned into a swan.  I was wrong, she did, and now Gladys is a very pretty young lady with her elegant white stockings and definitely uncrumpled face.

It's one of the lovely things about mixed breeds, that watching them grow and change is like a surprise gift every time. You really can't know for sure how they will look as adults and I've seen the most amazingly beautiful results emerge.
Crumple is now Gladys, just de-sexed and with new sister Trixie
