Sun 1st April: Easter Sunday and no fooling

Nando and his new family
Nando was picked up by his adopters today while poor Herbert was returned from his foster home, meaning two puppies had to go through the difficulty of a move to a new environment.  For Nando at least it was to another home and family, but he has also lost his dog friends and playmates, while Herbert had to be sent to Tai Po.  Luckily for puppies they adapt and adjust very quickly, and for Herbert his loss of a family means he now has lots of puppy playmates, so it's not all bad.
Herbert has moved to Tai Po

Hannah, one of the "meat puppies" and an exceptionally gentle girl, was taken for a trial adoption, and although there was a familiar look of panic on her face as she was carried off by a stranger she'll be fine I'm sure.
Hannah has a serious face and a soft heart

The photographer for the afternoon was one of our regular volunteers, Jimmy Tsang, and as always his photos are wonderful Puppy Adoption Day 1 April 2018

The new Doberman at Tai Po (unfortunately with ears cropped) is also a very good-natured boy, also young, although he doesn't have a license yet so no age is confirmed.  Once the Easter holidays are over we can sort out all the paperwork for the dogs and make them official.   In the meantime if anyone is interested in adoption please complete the Adoption Questionnaire on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com (under Adopt).

This handsome boy is now Adobe (a Dobie)
