Sat 4th Nov: Hooray for Nancy

Nancy is such a sweet girl

Happy news for sweet mini bulldog girl Nancy as she was adopted today from our Kennedy Town Homing Centre today, and for another bulldog, Frenchie Bijou, as she moved from her foster home to her forever family. Bijou has two French bulldog "brothers" to take care of her now so she won't get lonely, a problem with separation anxiety being the reason she waited so long for the right home to come along.

Big-eared Yaddle

There was also another successful foster-to-forever home meeting that took place today, although the actual move won't take place for a while as some things need to be sorted out first.  Luckily the foster family are happy to wait, so there's no panic in this particular case.  It's not the same for gorgeous big-eared Yaddle, who has to leave her foster home on Sunday, and at this point has nowhere to move to.  You can see a few photos on our Facebook Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR)  and Instagram pages, as well as a very sweet video, and if we can't find a permanent home for Yaddle we'd at least like her to move to a new foster.   She's eight months old and a medium size, a little bit shy but improving all the time, and you can meet her in person at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, 2pm to 4pm.

We have some new puppies arriving on Sunday too, as well as a golden retriever, male, and not a particularly young dog.  We will be contacting potential adopters who are waiting for a GR, but I already know that the age of this one will mean he may not be top choice for everyone.

We have also been asked to take in two of a very popular breed, young females (under a year old), but at this point I daren't say any more as they may or may not actually turn up  and you will have to read my blog tomorrow to find out.  We really never know from day to day what will come in or which dogs we'll be asked to accept.

Poppy and Parker

Totally unrelated to the above other than these two dogs were part of a group of unknowns that we recently took in, but I think they look so lovely.   We have so many small and medium-sized dogs staying at our Kennedy Town Centres, and I would love for them all to find their forever families.
