Mon 13th Nov: Just happy stories

Before anything else I need to share the beautiful photos taken on Sunday Puppy Adoption Day 12th Nov 2023 by Eric Tang .  I completely missed posting them yesterday and it was too late once I realised, but you can never have too many puppy photos.  Sorry Eric!

Eden/Gimli (left) loves her outdoor adventures

I can now write about the lucky "E" dog who not only found her forever home but also found herself again.  By that I mean the happy girl that was so well hidden when she first came to us, and hid herself away in a corner for so long.  If you watch the video you would never believe this was Eden, now Gimli, and she has settled so well with the other small dogs in the home.  Her new-found happiness just shines through, and I know all of the volunteers who helped take care of her over the past months have watched the video many times, as have I.

Parker, Esme and Nathan

Now we just need to find similar homes for the remaining small dogs, including these three who love to walk together.

Rex and Nova

Not all small dogs are poodles, and for another lucky two their foster parents have just confirmed that they have failed!  You know that means that they have realised they don't want to give the dogs up, so Rex and Nova will stay where they are forever (at least in the same family).  As it happens we had a home lined up for the pair in December, but the reality of losing the two lovely friends made the fosters want to adopt instead.

Mochi now Momo feeling very happy

Another happy adoption after a short trial was that of Mochi, the young and very beautiful Tai Po girl who somehow managed to break her front leg shortly after coming to us. The bone healed perfectly, but the delay made us worry that she would become yet another long-termer, so we're very happy that won't be the case.   Mochi is now Momo and she has two lookalike sisters, in fact I don't know which is which!
