Thurs 11th May: Don't forget the foster dogs!

Dory has been adopted

There's always interest in the new arrivals whatever they are, but unless lucky enough to be adopted in those early days of enthusiasm, the dogs and puppies quickly move down the line as others come in. One of the new group has already been adopted, the white pom Dory, and I fully expect that others will also be leaving over the coming weekend.

Not so long ago these other small dogs were the newbies, and although not adopted many were still lucky enough to find foster homes where they can live comfortably until moving to their forever families.

Here are some of those dogs, and all are licensed, desexed and vaccinated. If you would like more information or to arrange meetings, please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/:

Roo, male poodle, 12 years

Pom Robin
Robin, male pom, 4 years

Rebel, female poodle, 3 years Instagram @ sweet_pawtatoe

Imogen

Imogen, female poodle, 10 years

Isla, female poodle, 7 years

Lucas, male terrier type, 1 year (possibly older)

Tina, female poodle, 7 years

Twiggy, female poodle, 4 years

Tara and Tatum (female poodles) staying at 22 Elgin  Street.

Sadly Teddy the terrier is still with us, and he's now staying at our Kennedy Town North Street Centre.  He came as part of the "T" intake while we were using our Elgin Street base as a kind of dog refugee camp, and while all of his group were adopted Teddy was left behind.  The reason is that he has a trachea problem which makes him cough when excited, and his heart isn't 100% either.  Still, this doesn't mean that Teddy can't or shouldn't be able to find a home, it just means he needs more frequent short walks rather than long hikes.

For many more Kennedy Town dog and puppy photos check out hkdr_eagle .  We have so many small and medium sized dogs and puppies waiting for adoption, including tinies Speedy and Susie, who are clearly part Jack Russell (based on Speedy's looks).

Boris

We always have new dogs being added to the numbers at our Tai Po Homing Centre, including the three huskies
Farrah (F, 1 year old), Echo (F, 1 year old) and Boris (M, 6 years old).
