Sun 7th May: What luck with the weather!

There are so many photos to share for today's post so I'll just include the links for you to check out when you have time.
Ali is still the sweetest girl ever

The photographer for the rainy Sunday Puppy Party was regular Jimmy Tsang, back again after a day at Sai Kung on Saturday to be part of the photography team at Hero Dogs  Puppy Adoption Day 7th May 2023.  The puppies had to be inside thanks to the rain, and they were separated into two groups, with the siblings Poncho, Pixie and Pepper with Gabby on one side, and the smaller puppies on the other.  As I've mentioned before, many of our current puppies are small-to-medium in size, and they will be medium at most as adults.  Remember you can meet any of these puppies at our Kennedy Town Centres, open every single day from 10am to 6pm, while Avia and Pixie are in foster homes and meetings can be arranged through foster@hongkongdogrescue.com.

Little Avia

What amazing luck we had to have escaped today's weather on Saturday, because the Hero Dogs event would have been a complete wash-out.  Instead we had the best sunny day, even if the heat proved to be challenging for the Air Force group, and not everyone made it to the top of Ngong Ping for the spectacular views over Sai Kung, so congratulations to everyone and their dogs who did.  Here are the photos to prove it  Hero Dogs III (Air Force + Market) - Photos by Jimmy Tsang.   The Navy groups' photos were shared yesterday, so here is the Army  Hero Dogs II (Army + Opening + Market) - Photos by Eagle Chan and for all photos together please check our Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) and Instagram @hkdr_official pages.

Once again, thank you to the organisers of the event (our own HKDR team), sponsors and participants, and we'll see you back later this year for Peak to Fong 2023! (Yay!)
