Mon 6th June: Calm before the night's storm

 Today was literally the calm before the storm, as it was a quiet day apart from the ongoing routine of taking care of so many hundreds of dogs in various locations.  The thunder and lightning didn't hit Lamma until the middle of the night,  and that always results in a moving around the house according to the dogs' preferences, with giant lump of a dog Safari climbing onto my bed for comfort.  Some dogs don't react at all to thunder, while for others it's like the end of the world has come.
