Sun 22nd May: Hooray for the puppies - and Tanya

Tanya in her foster home

Before I list the puppies that found homes today I want to share another very happy ending, that of Tanya, one of the rooftop huskies and the first to find her forever home.  Tanya had an interview today at her foster home and everything went very well so her adoption was confirmed.  Congratulations Tanya!

Celia waited a very short time for her family

Celia was the first puppy of the day to be adopted, and she was chosen from the latest intake at our Kennedy Town Homing Centre.

Kim and his family

Posy also found a home today

Kim and Posy were two of the lucky four to find homes later on at Whiskers N Paws, with older puppies Betty and Rachel being the other two.   Now siblings Zak and Zippy have moved in as the full time guests at Whiskers N Paws to take the place of Betty, and I'm sure they'll enjoy their time there.

Betty's lucky adopters

Jimmy Tsang was the volunteer photographer for the two hour puppy party, and the results are lovely as always Puppy Adoption Day 22nd May 2022.  If you want to meet any of the puppies shown (other than those already adopted of course) please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at https://hongkongdogrescue.com/.../adoption-questionnaire/

Rachel had only just come back from foster

You may remember a dog called Camille who came to us from AFCD not long ago with a badly injured paw.  She found a wonderful foster home where she's been well taken care of, including having the dressing on her paw changed daily and regular vet checks, but sadly she can't stay as her foster parents are leaving Hong Kong soon. Camille is a young dog at only a year old, fully toilet trained and very sociable, so again if you're interested in adopting please complete the questionnaire.
