Bobsy the "doodle" was adopted first thing, so his stay at Kennedy Town was very short as expected.
I think we probably have homes for all of the poodles too, meaning they should be gone by the end of Sunday. We received a wonderful update from the adopter of Gunner, taken home yesterday, saying what a wonderful little dog he is and showing him meeting his double in the mirror (very cute!)
There was news from Tai Po too, but with so many dogs to choose from, and almost all adults too, adoption tends to be a longer process. So while we have quite a lot of people meeting the dogs, it often takes a few visits to decide which one will be "The One".
As you may have seen on our Hong Kong Dog Rescue Facebook page, Timmy has finally got a home, and even better - it's in Canada. So new we need a flight volunteer to take him there. If you are flying a direct flight with CX from HK to TORONTO in the coming months, please get in touch to become Timmy’s flight volunteer!
We have a full house at Whiskers N Paws for Sunday, with many of the foster puppies shown below due to be joining the party from 2pm to 4pm. If you can't make it and you would like to meet any of the puppies at their foster homes you can always do that too. Our Foster Coordinator Cindy will be happy to arrange, but please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at https://hongkongdogrescue.com/.../adoption-questionnaire/
Thank you for the happy stories today and also what a wonderful lot of puppies. XXX <3
