Possibly (hopefully) due to yesterday's story about Treacle and the need for a new home, her owners have decided not to give her up. Thank you to those who jumped in with kind offers of help, and I hope that maybe other dogs who have been similarly abandoned will benefit. I'm thinking of dogs like Scribble, adopted at a year old and cruelly surrendered to AFCD just recently when the family left Hong Kong. She's still a young dog at only six years of age, has always lived with children, and you can see her in the lovely video our volunteer Harryn took at the Ap Lei Chau dog park. https://www.facebook.com/hkdogrescue/videos/1698467870491586/

The star of the video was Teddy, also still available, but all of the co-stars (Scribble included, look for the terrier type) are waiting to be adopted.

Our Tai Po Homing Centre is now covered every month by Buddy Bites, who donate 1kg of food for every 2kg they sell. The Tai Po dogs are now enjoying Adult Duck, Adult Lamb as well as Puppy for our younger ones.

 Sundays are when the puppies from the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre and those staying in foster homes get together for two hours of play on the terrace at Whiskers N Paws, 10/F Horizon Plaza. They don't know it, of course, but they're there for another reason, and that's so they can be seen by potential adopters, and hopefully taken home. One puppy who won't be back this Sunday is Nancy, as her foster parents saw how well she and their own dog were getting on, and how happy they both are (digging holes together in the garden!)
