Fri 16th Aug: Ferrying dogs

Scuba at Acorn the other day
There's a lot of ferrying back and forth needed when dogs are being fostered on Lamma, and today I had to take Scuba over with me after it was discovered that his microchip implanted at AFCD wasn't actually there and needed to be replaced.   He's heading off for a foster home on Saturday, and hopefully it will become a forever family if things go well.  I have to say he's the sweetest and easiest little dog, a great size, very friendly, affectionate and good looking too.

There were two puppies waiting to be taken out at AFCD, two gorgeous and waggy-tailed boys now called Origami (because of the neat way his ears are folded) and Jonty.  We now have a lot of new and very lovely, happy and friendly puppies eager to meet their  families at either of the weekend's adoption events.  That's Saturday at Concordia Pet Care and Sunday at Whiskers N Paws, and every single day at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.

Sahara is another perfect older puppy for children

While I was at Acorn with the two newest puppies, I met foster puppy Sarah, who used to be called Sahara.  I changed her name because the first didn't seem to have been lucky for her, and now-Sarah is another absolutely gorgeous six month-old, still quite small and incredibly affectionate.  Any family would be lucky to adopt this gem of a girl.

Scamp found his perfect family today

A second Lamma foster dog made his way over to Ap Lei Chau today,  this time it was to meet his potential adopters and Scamp is now off the available list.
