Tues 17th Jan: Some more happy Tai Po residents say goodbye

It seems just the other day that I was talking about Christmas and New Year and the fact that we are open every single day regardless of any holidays, and it's the same for Chinese New Year when our Homing Centres will be open for business as usual.  The dogs need to be fed and exercised and cleaning done, so you are welcome to come and walk the dogs or take them hiking (if you are already a registered volunteer) or adopt (or two) home for ever.

A very happy family for Yoyo
Yoyo is our latest lucky Tai Po ex-resident, and from his photo it seems that both he and his family are very happy with the new arrangement.  There are really so many lovely dogs at our main Homing Centre, and one to suit every type of requirement.  Some are active, others couch potatoes, and our experienced team can introduce just the right one for your home and lifestyle.

Mindy followed Spangle to Terry's home
Long-termer Mindy also finally got her chance when she was chosen to join (also long-term) volunteer Terry's large canine family.  I know many volunteers, current and past, will be so happy to know that sweet Mindy has finally got a place to call home, as she has been with us since our Pokfulam days.  Terry wrote: Mindy cant believe her luck. She dances around the house. Takes herself to bed at 5pm each day, as she would as Tai Po goes quiet.  In fact there was another dog taken home by Terry recently, and Spangle (now Sam) has already settled in nicely and can welcome Mindy into the family.

With 2017 well underway we've got quite a lot going on in terms of upcoming events as well as the ongoing search for a new Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.  A few options are in the pipeline as far as that's concerned and we should have something confirmed by the Lunar New Year.  Watch this space.
