Sun 11th July: Some more lucky dogs and puppies

I just received a message about some more baby puppies found in the middle of the night (these rescuers are truly amazing) so we'll be needing foster homes please.   They're at least not so young that they'll need bottle feeding, and from the photo it looks like there are five of them so they can go as a pair and a threesome.  Anyone who is available to help please email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com, thank you. All food, beds and everything else is provided so all we need is someone to take care of the puppies and to take them to the designated vet clinics as and when necessary.

Billy Bob is still a bit too young

We still have quite a few young puppies in foster care and not old enough to be available for adoption, at least not on their own, but the others were at Whiskers N Paws for the regular Sunday party.  Rodger So was the photographer and there are many really beautiful captures here  Puppy Adoption Day 11th July 2021.

Mello joins his brother Marsh

One puppy stayed behind at the Homing Centre because he was already reserved to join his brother, so once again Marsh and Mello are together - and for ever this time.

Also leaving from the Homing Centre was Mickey, and we'll be seeing more of him as he grows I expect, because his new home is just round the corner from us.

Mickey will live round the corner

I guessed that beautiful little Lupa wouldn't have to wait long for a home and I was right, as she was adopted today.

Tiny Lupa is now Foxie

At the other end of the size and weight scale, bulldog Dozer went off to be big (literally) brother to another of his type but the French variety, and so far they seem to be getting along well.

A personal fan can't be bad

Another lucky dog has a ready-made brother in her new home, and that's Feta,  who went to join ex-HKDR Scrumpy (at least that was his name when with us).  It's so much easier when a resident dog is on hand to help with the settling in process, and to explain how everything works in the home.

Feta has been with us since she was a puppy
