I'm going to start with the good news, because to be honest it hasn't been a happy week in general. I'm also looking forward to hearing good news from Cindy about puppies being adopted from their foster homes, as well as others over the coming weekend.
Berry's harness was adjusted to fit |
Shiba inu Bumpy went home today |
Shiba inu Bumpy was adopted today, and also sweet older puppy Berry, both from our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre. Before any eagle-eyed readers comment on Berry's loose harness, this was before she had it properly fitted and a collar added for safety too.
Coral isn't worried about finding a home |
While I'm absolutely sure that baby Coral isn't going to be one of those puppies that is left behind while her siblings are adopted, I don't want Donut to join that sad club. He's the last one from his litter still waiting at Tai Po, and as happens in too many cases there's no reason why he hasn't been chosen, it's just a matter of luck (or bad luck). Donut's brothers and sisters are all doing well in their adoptive homes and are lovely characters, so please remember Donut when you're looking for a puppy to take home. You can see Donut's video as well as other dogs and puppies on Happy Woof's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HappyWoofHK
Continuing the before-and-after updates on the "Flower Girls" poodles, here's Daisy looking and feeling great after completing surgery and everything else that needed doing. These updates are a reminder when looking for dogs to adopt that many of the issues that you might see are treatable,
and only a result of past lack of care. Some, like these poodles, needed longer than others to regain full health, but I'm sure their new families know it was worth the wait.
Daisy's before and after pics are wonderful!
