Sat 9th March: Damp days at HKDR

Dogs and volunteers at the West Kowloon Freespace Happening today
As expected it wasn't hugely busy at the West Kowloon Freespace Happening today thanks to the rain, but there was still a decent turnout and our four lovely Dog Ambassadors worked what crowd there was with grace and perfect behaviour.   We'll be back again on Sunday if you want to drop by and say hello.

Korma is already feeling part of the family (with Buzzy)
I'm free to name one of the lucky Tai Po puppies who was taken home on Friday as she has already become best friends with the resident ex-HKDR dog, Buzzy.  As her adopter said about Korma "She's absolutely adorable and really affectionate, her and Buzzy are getting along really well and played and slept together all night".

I can also promise that Korma's sister Curry, currently staying full time at Whiskers N Paws, is equally lovely, sweet-natured and affectionate, and perfect for any family.  Curry is also quite small compared to her sisters, and will be a medium-sized adult. You can, of course, meet Curry any day of the week but if you come along for the Sunday puppy afternoon we can introduce her properly.
Here are Eric Tang's lovely photos from last Sunday as a reminder Puppy Adoption Day 3 March

Minty is another gorgeous girl, and I can highly recommend her too as a perfect family member.

Minty is super-sweet

Oatmeal and Porridge are now home for ever

There is now only one of the fluffy ex-breeder/hoarder puppies still available as Oatmeal and Porridge have had their forever status confirmed, and Tiffin was taken today from our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.  Barney is the last man standing, and it's quite strange as he's the smallest of them all and arguably the cutest.  It's probably the fact that he had tick fever that resulted in him being left behind, but I'm 100% sure it won't be for long.
Adorable Barney

There is never a week that passes without new dogs arriving, and today it was a corgi boy, eight years old and not trained in any way because the now ex-owner didn't have time.  It drives me crazy, in fact it drives all of us crazy, that people buy puppies when they will just be left alone all day.  Luckily this corgi has a nice nature, as many can be guarders and biters.
I called this 8 year-old boy Hamish
