Weds 2nd Jan: Back to work for most

The 2019 Junior Pet Lovers
Sassy (l) and Rose with Yannie, Cactus and Kimmy

These 20 Junior Pet Lovers had fun today in the workshop but at the same time they gained experience of taking care of our dog ambassadors Rose (#hkdrRose) & Sassy (#hkdrSassy) and learnt about adoption and how to be a responsible pet parent.  Thanks to these junior pet lovers for coming today and we hope they will spread the love and the correct messages to their peers and the community. Also big thanks to volunteer Kimmy for being very supportive and hosting these important workshops, and Whiskers N Paws for lending their wonderful venue to us.
.
Meanwhile, the two excellent dog ambassadors Rose (5 months old) and Sassy (8 months old) are still waiting for their forever homes! These two wonderful girls are perfect for families with children as they are smart, loving and very easy.
.
Apart from dog adoption, HKDR understands the importance of educating the young generation.  We welcome schools and organisations to join our educational programmes,  or to suggest any new ideas which would help educate the junior pet lovers to love and care about our 4-legged friends! Our 2019 Puppy Adoption afternoons start on Saturday at Concordia Pet Care, a new regular venue every first and third Saturday of each month.  We have puppies of all ages, with sizes ranging from small/medium to large.  Of course we'll also be at Whiskers N Paws for our regular time slot of 2pm to 5pm every Sunday, and remember that you can also meet the puppies any day of the week at our own Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, 5 Wai Fung Street, 10am to 6pm.   Take another look at all of the available puppies here
