If we were living in another country the current temperatures might seem quite pleasant, even fairly warm for January, but my dogs are enjoying snuggling in warm beds and I'm dressed in layers of clothes, thanks to the fact that my doors must always be open for the dogs to go in and out. I haven't been at work this week as I'm still getting over a cold which I don't want to pass on, and judging from the email and Facebook activity there are a lot of people still on holiday or waiting for warmer weather before emerging, so I don't have any adoption news unfortunately. I'm hoping that will change after Saturday's Puppy Adoption afternoon at Concordia Pet Care in Happy Valley, and again at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday afternoon, and that's not including every single day at both of our Homing Centres at Ap Lei Chau and Tai Po.

Sassy and Blake in November at Whiskers N Paws |
We really do have so many genuinely lovely puppies and dogs waiting for homes, and if you haven't already seen this sweet-sad video of Blake watching the video of all of the dogs adopted last year, take a look here https://www.facebook.com/hkdogrescue/videos/311739356115456/

Blake at his computer studying how to be an adopted dog |
Blake, who is Sassy's brother, is staying full time at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre along with many other puppies of all ages, so there's really someone for everyone. Our younger puppies aren't shown on the website www.hongkongdogrescue.com as they change so fast we would be constantly having to update photos, but you can see all of those currently available here
