Weds 13th Dec: Keeping up with Facebook news

I always have little faces staring at me
My days are pretty much taken up with looking after eight little puppies who should be sleeping a lot but are constantly awake, or that's how it seems.  Anyway it's good to see them eating well and playing, and being out of the cold wind that's howling around at the moment.  At least a few of them should be moving out to foster homes over the coming days and that should help, although retrieving my work top would be ideal.

This pointer puppy is the son of the two we previously homed

The young son of the two pointers we took in not long ago was brought to us today, the owner having been unable to find a home himself and now starting to get worried.  Luckily I had a standby potential adopter waiting, so I hope this puppy will be gone by Thursday.  Lucky boy to have been born with a breed name rather than a mix or multibreed.

This young Frenchie needs a home

Breeds come and go in and out of fashion just as quickly as clothes or hairstyles, and right now the French bulldog is the must-have latest accessory, although not the traditional black-and-white variety.  We have been asked if we'll take a two year-old breeder throwaway due to paralysis, and I'm assuming it's a recent condition if the dog is only just now being dumped.  The last time we took in an English bulldog with the same problem he recovered after while.  I have no idea if this Frenchie will be as lucky but we will see what Dr Tony has to say and if anything can be done.  Right now we need a foster home if there is anyone willing to help.  Please email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com
We called this paralysed bulldog Zippo

The new Facebook changes have made it much harder for you to see updates from pages you have liked, but we really don’t want to lose touch with you! Whether we are sharing happy adoption stories or shouting for help with the dogs, we hope you will be able to hear us!
