Fri 1st Sept: What a day!

I wrote most of this post last night as I guessed I'd be busy clearing up on Saturday after the typhoon during the night.  There's quite a lot of damage on Lamma, and I need to get moving to start the clear-up and repairing.

Once again I want to thank everyone who took dogs for fostering, especially from our Tai Po Centre where they were most as risk from the weather.  For those who offered and didn't receive a reply, I sincerely apologise, however there was only myself and Cindy, a volunteer, trying to answer all of the applications and make arrangements for the dogs to be collected.   We still want foster homes for puppies, however priority will be give to those who are considering adoption. 

 Forty eight dogs and puppies found their Forever Homes during August, which is exactly the number we took in from sources other than AFCD:
