Sun 3rd Sept: Hotting up again

Things are definitely hotting up again, and I'm talking about both the weather and the adoption scene.  I'm very happy about the latter, less so the sweltering heat, but we can't have everything I suppose.

Nadia will have plenty of playmates in her new home

Jimmy Tsang has been a regular volunteer photographer for us for many years, and his photos are always a delight  Puppy Adoption Day 3rd Sep 2023, especially when there's an adoption.  This week it was the super-gorgeous Nadia who went home with her new family, but if you wish you had been the one to adopt her don't worry, siblings Nero and Navy are now staying at Whiskers N Paws as full time guests so you can meet them there any day of the week.
Wolfie is so lovely

We also saw all of the younger puppies leaving the Kennedy Town North Street Centre to go to foster homes, so now we can have a good clean before bringing more in.  There are still older puppies/doglets at the Brilliant Court Centre, 28 Praya Kennedy Town, including gorgeous and funny Wolfie, Coral and Dandy.  Please don't think they're "too old", because they're actually a perfect age if you want to fast-forward over the more challenging training stage.  If anyone wants to meet the younger pups like Corby, Todd or Tim, please contact Cindy, our Foster Coordinator, at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com to arrange.

Smart Dandy

Coral is a petite girl, definitely a small medium

Jill and Jax before leaving for foster

We guessed it wouldn't take long for puppy Jasper to be chosen, and he was adopted today from his foster home.  You must recognise the Instagram @why_i_foster tag by now, as so many puppies have passed through this home on their way to finding their forever families.  There are three still remaining, the black-and-white siblings  Jax, Jill and Johnnie, small-sized, beautiful and, well, just perfect.

I should mention that just because the puppies have left our North Street Centre to go to foster homes, that doesn't mean the space isn't still filled with small and medium sized dogs.  We have plenty of those still waiting for homes.  If you would like to meet any of them, please remember to start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/.
