Thank you to Keith Lau |
All dog owners dread the time when their beloved four-legged companion reaches the end of his or her life, and no matter when it happens it's too soon. Even as time passes and new dogs come into our lives that doesn't mean we forget old friends, and what better way to honour a memory than to leave a bequest which will help other dogs in need.
This is just what Keith Lau did for his dog through
遺善最樂 ForeverGift.hk, a free Will-writing service that includes a charitable bequest, in this case HKDR. By leaving a future donation for the dogs you can help to ensure that our work will continue in years to come, so although writing a Will may not be something that you have thought about yet, perhaps it's time to consider that option. Thank you to Keith, and to all of the other donors who have been kind enough to include HKDR in their own Wills. |
A legacy in memory of Keith's dog

Young Nigel is waiting for you
|
The weekend is here again and I'm sure I'll have more adoptions to write about, and I hope that will include some Tai Po dogs or puppies. Perhaps it will be Nigel's turn, only nine months old, or Emma, a young and medium-sized girl.

Emma's small enough to carry

Both are lovely, as are so many of the other hopefuls, many of whom have been waiting for years to be noticed and given a chance.
I was wondering when the next group of small-medium dogs and puppies would be turning up, and just as I was writing this post I received the latest photos. These are the usual terriers, poodles and small puppies, so please look out for details as they come in.
If you can offer foster care, or even better a forever home, please fill out the forms:
