Weds 26th Oct: Still on the subject of poodles

Lottie when she came to us

Another foster poodle has her full time status confirmed today, and that was Lottie.   Meanwhile poor little Bailey will have to come back from her foster home after the resident poodle turned out to be very resentful of having an intruder turn up, and I agreed that returning Bailey would be the best option for her own sake.   If anyone can offer her another chance, she's the sweetest old lady who only wants love and attention.
Sweet old lady Bailey

We also got a message from AFCD Sheung Shui about five poodles and three poms being available for re-homing, all six years old and female, and all ex-breeder dogs.  I'm sure I don't need to repeat what I have said many times about breeders, and seeing the photos only reinforced my opinion.  I also know that it won't be long before these little dogs are going to look completely different, and now they have a whole new life to look forward to.  They're all very sweet natured too (we're told), and from the photos they also appear to be very small.  We can't share the AFCD photos but please check in again for an update later, and in the meantime I have already allocated "I" names in readiness for the dogs' arrival. As always, if you're interested in adopting please start by completing the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

Moose was picked up from Kennedy Town, his "cone of shame" being because he somehow cut his paw so will need to be prevented from licking it for a while.

His space will quickly be filled by more puppies coming from AFCD with the poodles and pomeranians, six of them to be exact, with one older one heading for our Tai Po Homing Centre.
