Mon 10th Oct: Dogs on the move again

These dogs moved to Elgin Street

For all of those who have been asking about the small and medium-sized dogs that came to us recently, please note that they were moved from our Kennedy Town North Street Centre to HKDR@Elgin in Soho today. There was a good reason for this as we took in a mix of new puppies and needed to be able to have them delivered to North Street, even if almost all of them were due to be heading out to foster homes almost immediately.
These 3 will stay at North Street

Now of course we will need to ask for volunteers to help with the dogs at 22 Elgin Street, and anyone interested should email Cam directly at elgin@hongkongdogrescue.com.

If you're looking to adopt, please start by completing the questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire (this applies to all dogs and puppies regardless of age or location).

These 6 went straight to foster

On the subject of adoption, we'll be at Woof Magic in Sai Kung with some of our top Tai Po dogs on Saturday 15th October from 2pm to 4pm, hoping to give these lovely larger adults a chance to meet potential families away from the Homing Centre.

I'd also like to mention two larger not-quite-adults that are currently staying at our Kennedy Town Homing Centre, only because I'm really, really hoping that they will find their new families very soon.

Everyone loves Adam

One of these is Adam, a very lovely boy who was adopted for a short time and returned because he wasn't 100% physically perfect (his teeth are stained from assumed puppyhood distemper).  You won't find a sweeter dog, and beautiful too.

Turpin is still under a year old

The other is Turpin, a dog whose almost-adopter gave up on him when he'd barely stepped inside the home.  I'd really hoped his foster parents would be able to take him back, but sadly they weren't able to.  In fact they loved Turpin so much they said they would have adopted him themselves if their situation had allowed.  This poor doglet has had such bad luck through no fault of his own, and I'm determined not to give up until I find a good home.
