Sun 23rd Oct: Poodle day! and more

Samuel's on the right

It was poodle day today, with Samuel dropping by to have his adoption paperwork completed and photo taken, while Wally's adoption was confirmed by his foster home (he was the one who had tick fever).
Wally's bedtime story

Also joining the Failed Foster Club, long-term foster poodle Hazel is staying for ever, and big thanks too to her now-family for covering the large vet bills that were incurred due to Hazel's many health issues.

This was Hazel in January

Another poodle(ish) who's in a foster home may also be staying, but again he came to us with a heart problem that will need lifelong monitoring and medication, so that's something that has to be considered. One thing's for sure, and that's that Hendrix is a very sweet boy and loved by his foster parents.

Soko was almost in-and-out

As I mentioned yesterday, Soko the recently-arrived shiba puppy has found his new home after having been found wandering as a stray, without a microchip, and brought to us. Lucky Soko.

I want to use this photo of Moose again

There were lots of visitors today, many first time lookers wanting to meet some of the puppies, and others who have been before and were returning to make their choice.  Today it was decision day and Moose was the lucky puppy, while at Whiskers N Paws it was Tabitha who went home.  Both are lovely puppies  who I'm sure will make great family members.

Tabitha was one of the many puppies whose lack of a forever home was a mystery to us because not only is she very pretty and only medium sized, she's also very sweet natured.  So many people ask about dogs or puppies with these exact attributes, yet Tabitha went unnoticed every Sunday, until now.  For those of you who are still looking for that perfect match, maybe he or she is right there waiting for you too. Please take a look at the photos taken by regular Sunday volunteer Rodger So to see if "the one" is there  Puppy Adoption Day 23rd Oct 2022

Jayden needs a new home please

I have a photo now of the new arrival at our Tai Po Homing Centre, a very sweet dog who has been given the name of Jayden.  Please remember his face and name if you're looking for a new family member who was living in a home before being so cruelly thrown out when a baby arrived.
