I haven't used a radiator for years, but today it was time to get heaters out of the storeroom and dust them off. It's not so much the low temperature but the rain and damp that really makes everything feel so cold, and that's why we're asking for temporary fosters for our most vulnerable Tai Po dogs, most of whom live outside. If you have fostered for us before and can do so again, please just head over to the Tai Po Homing Centre to pick up a dog, or email info@hongkongdogrescue.com. I'm not asking Cindy to take on this task on top of everything else she has to deal with, because we're also in need of foster homes for the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre dogs and puppies who will be homeless for two weeks after we have to leave our currrent location at the end of February. For those cases please email foster@hongkongdogrescue.com, thank you.

Biggles (r) has a puppy friend to play with |
Two puppies were adopted today, so they won't be needing any temporary accomodation. Biggles and Biba are siblings, and although they're not going home together they will each have another dog at home to play with.

Biggles and Biba are adopted |
Schnauzer Lottie's foster parents joined the Failed Foster Club today, and I have to be honest and say I'd actually forgotten all about Lottie as it's been some time since she left for her then-temporary home.

Sisters Lucy and Lorna at WNP |
Despite the terrible weather the Sunday puppy party at Whiskers N Paws will go ahead, albeit on a much smaller scale than usual. Several foster puppies will be there, along with the two current resident sisters, Lucy and Lorna. We'll be there from 2pm until 4pm only, so please get there as early as possible if you want to meet the puppies. Of course the Homing Centres are open daily from 10am to 6pm, but again please don't come close to closing time as the staff will need to prepare the dogs for sleeping.
