Trisha and Tyrion on the car ride home |
As predicted, the "T" Litter's good luck continued, with Trisha and Tyrion going home together (yay!) and Trundle being chosen from his foster home. The remaining "T" pup, Turpin, should be going on Sunday.

Amber was also the first of her litter to leave our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, not because these puppies aren't beautiful (they are), but because they weren't well when they first arrived. Now all have been given a clean bill of health it's time for them to find their own forever homes.
A quick update on the three Ap Lei Chau dogs that moved to Lamma: the two "Cricket" girls, Blanche and Brandy, surprised me by happily exploring the garden almost as soon as they arrived, but I think that's because they operate as a pair and give each other confidence. As such, if they were adopted together and had an outside space such as a garden or terrace which they could use, I think they would be fine. River, however, is really scared, reminding me of how she was when she first came to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre. It will take time, but she'll come round eventually I'm sure.
In this very short video you can see Blanche and Brandy, and also Rumble, who has really become a great little dog. I'm sure he is part border collie, not only because of his appearance but also because he is very smart. He's also easy to be around, well behaved, and loyal. He likes to lie at your feet when you sit down, but he also loves to go out for long walks. I'm sure the right home will come along, and if you're interested please complete the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/
