Weds 2nd Nov: Puppy fosters needed again

These are just 2 of the new babies
It looks as though it's going to be a full-on Sunday at Whiskers N Paws, as not only have I got the five incredibly sweet and gorgeous Stanley Barracks puppies to introduce, but now there are a bunch of babies coming too.  They are also heart-melters so it will be a tough choice for potential adopters, not to mention the photographer for the afternoon who will have to try and get photos of all the new recruits.

Lizzie is a bit older than this only photo shows
We also have one leftover from the previous batch of lovely youngsters, and for some reason she has evaded the camera for two weeks in a row now so I only have this earlier photo of Lizzie.  I suspect it might be because she has such a good time playing with the other pups that she doesn't stand still long enough, and perhaps the best idea would be to get her current fosters to try and capture her, perhaps when she's sleeping.
Teabag and her litter are too big to be with the babies

I have another puppy-related problem, and it's that because the Stanley Barracks litter are so large they have taken up all of the space in my Lamma puppy area, and in any case at six months they are too old to mix with six or eight-week-old babies.  So I need fosters for the youngsters please, and if you are able to help contact Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com.  As always all food, bowls etc will be provided and vet costs covered, but the pups do need to be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday afternoons so it may not be possible for those of you who live too far away to make it to Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau.

This coming Sunday will be the last one before Peak to Fong, and there are two things I want to mention before the big day arrives.  The first is that we are now recruiting volunteers for the event, and anyone who would like to be part of the team please go to http://hongkongdogrescue.com/event/peak-to-fong-sponsored-walk/volunteers/

The second thing is to remind all participants that an important part of the fundraising comes through sponsorship of the walk down from the Peak to Lan Kwai Fong, and there are great prizes for those of you who raise the most money.  Sponsorship forms are included in every T-shirt packing and all you need to do is to ask friends, neighbours, work colleagues or random strangers to sponsor you to complete the walk.  You can also make it easy by setting up your own Simply Giving page here: https://www.simplygiving.com/Event/p2f2016

For all information about T-shirt/ticket purchase, times, 99 Bus, volunteering, sponsoring and everything else please visit our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com and look under "Events".  Everything you need to know is detailed there.
