Sat 19th Nov: Rita and Cinnamon

Our HKDR stall and the puppies
We had a double space at the Canadian International School Fair today, with one selling HKDR merchandise and the other showing off a couple of our lovely puppies.  Tom and Bilbo will be back to "work" at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday after their sleepover and hopefully on their was to a new forever home.  CIS student Lauren said this about them:

"Just wanted to say thank you so much for letting us bring the two puppies to the fair, especially on such short notice! We only had them for one night and one day at the fair, and I can already see that they are such playful and people loving puppies, they would do great in any family. They got lots of attention and people loved playing with them and hearing about them, we definitely were able to spread awareness about adoption to many families today.  They are such gentle, sweet, adorable and playful puppies, and they were very friendly with my senior golden retriever at home. I really hope get adopted soon!"

Rita came from a breeder along with her mother Soya
It was shiba inu Rita's big day as she left our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, and over at Tai Po foster dog Cinnamon checked in to have her status upgraded to "adopted".  Thanks to her adopters for having the patience to help Cinnamon through the settling in period, as she is a shy girl who took some time to warm up.
Lucky Cinnamon and her kind adopters
