Mon 12th April: Donations come in different forms

Donations come in many different ways, and a gift of food for the dogs is just as welcome as cash (because that's a good part of what we spend it on anyway).  Today's mega-pile of four pallets of high quality New Zealand Pet Food from Bowl & Bowls was quite amazing, and the dogs are going to be very happy.

(Little) Eva was with her three adopted HKDR dogs Sarah, Kenny and recent addition O'Brian, at Whiskers N Paws today for an RTHK programme.  The original idea was to have puppies there, but we decided in the end that the day was too long and challenging for the youngsters so Eva volunteered her dogs instead. Trainer Eurica was there too, and the subject of the programme was to introduce hearing impaired volunteers to the correct handling and training of the dogs and puppies.  It will be a very interesting programme when it airs.

There were 9 poodles but Tulip is missing from the group

We're continuing to introduce our dogs and puppies to potential adopters of course, and poodle Jasmine was the lucky dog today.  There has been a lot of interest in the other two young poodles, one already with us and another due at the end of the week, and there's also the dachshund looking for a new home.  I'll be sharing the happy adoption news as and when I can, although those dogs like Jasmine moving from foster to their forever home miss out on the photos.
