Fri 15th May: You're welcome to visit our Tai Po Centre

We have some new dogs coming in from AFCD on Monday, and yes three of them are small sized but not young, and two of them are seven year-old siblings so they need to stay together I assume.  We'll see how "sticky" they are when they arrive but they're small enough to count as one and they are some sort of terrier judging from their photo, although licensed as chihuahuas (I have no idea why).   The third is a poodle.

Brush has a big smile and a little tuft of hair
There will also be three more of the "Wonderland" dogs coming, and that's a misnomer if ever there was one as this was the cruelty case shelter.  It's been almost a year since the survivors were rescued and now they need to find homes, with the Tai Po Homing Centre being the first step.  These dogs have all turned out to be lovely and very sweet happy characters, and even though they have been through a lot I think the staff at AFCD looked after them well.  Recent intakes from this case have been Brush, Eddie, Max and Macy, and you can check out their details on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com/dogs/ or the profiles that are regularly posted on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hkdogrescue/.

Macy is licensed as a beagle cross

Ivory (l) lost her best friend when she was returned
Can I also ask that anyone looking for a lovely young adult dog consider Ivory, who's now back at our Tai Po Homing Centre.  I was very upset about her return so it would mean a lot to me to see her going to a new home.

If you want to visit our Tai Po Homing Centre to meet the many dogs available for adoption you're welcome any day, but please do complete the adoption questionnaire in advance.  You can find it at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/

Thank you!
