Sun 15th March: Thanks for volunteering

Tanya found her new family today
At least it was dry if not exactly warm and sunny for the afternoon's puppy party at Whiskers N Paws, and we had a few new photographers offering to join the volunteer photography group managed by Semirah Darwin, so thank you to all.  Joanna Wong is already one of the established volunteers and here is her album  Puppy Adoption Day 15 March 2020 - Part 1
followed by  Puppy Adoption Day 15 March 2020 - Part 3 (Ben Marans)
and Carla Martinesi  Puppy Adoption Day 15 March 2020 - Part 2

Toby's adoption came let in the afternoon

Two puppies were adopted while Wilf moved from his foster home to a new one, one of the reasons being that he had become so attached to his temporary carer that I knew it was going to become harder and harder for both sides if he stayed any longer.  Although a mixed breed Wilf has a lot of sharpei in him and it's evident in both his looks, especially as a baby pup, and his character, meaning he's very loyal.  His new foster home already has two adopted dogs so it will help Wilf expand his social horizons even if may well be upset for a while.
I call him Goo Goo because he's so funny and sweet

Google also went to a foster home, and he's a lovely puppy who has had the benefit of home care since he came to us as a real baby.

We had some puppy/doglet visitors today, like Tiger who came for a play, and Farley with his sister Zara (although they have new names now) so some of the photos may include them.  On the other hand several of the younger puppies, like Toby's siblings, didn't make their debut yet but should be there next weekend, as well as the new recruits arriving from AFCD on Monday.

As promised, here's the going home photo for Prudence, now proudly a real family member.

Thank you to everyone for adopting and making us all very happy.
