Sat 10th March: Rehearsal at Heal for Sunday

The puppy afternoon at Heal was a busy one, but apparently just a warm-up for Sunday's event when we hope to see potential adopters back again to take their puppies home.  Elena Mathew was the volunteer photographer for the day and here are the candidates waiting to be chosen  Puppy Adoption Day 10 March 2018 — at HEAL Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation

Cocoa is now called Lucky and you can guess why.

One lucky puppy belonging to the "meat" litter had her adoption confirmed after a week's trial, and just like the other "meat puppies" she's shown herself to be an ideal family member.  Cocoa was sent to Tai Po when she first arrived as she was quite a bit bigger than the other puppies, and now  lookalike Sidney has taken over the "biggest baby" title.

Three other "meat puppies" will be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, Hannah (black), Pixel (tan) and black-and-tan Zelda, who always makes me laugh with her zany character.

Timmy and Juno are now officially brother and sister

Two other lookalike puppies-now-adults, Timmy and Juno (not related) had their double adoption confirmed today as well, and while it's taken a long time for these lovely dogs it was worth the wait.  They are so happy together in their new home and we're all delighted too.

There will be another double adoption next weekend, not puppies but two dogs who are very closely bonded.  My lips are sealed until it happens, but the appointment has been made so look out for the happy news.

In case you already have your dog(s) and might be wondering what's going on this Sunday that you can go to together, the Cyberport Arcade event is taking place.  Sadly this isn't outside, especially given the incredible weather, but I hope it will be fun anyway.
