Fri 16th March: New recruits

Nando will be at WNP on Sunday
Whenever the sun comes out and I'm about to pack the dog blankets away for the summer, the weather does a quick about-turn and I think perhaps not quite yet.  In fact the only reason I'm interested in whether there will be sun or rain is because of the Whiskers N Paws puppy afternoon, as even though we now have a proper inside area if required the older pups love running around on the terrace.

In case anyone is interested in looking at puppies on Saturday, we did take in a new group of five today and they are currently staying at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre at 21 Main Street.  They may all be from the same litter although one looks decidedly larger than than rest, but there are two fluffies, two definite tan/white siblings and the spare brown.

There was good news from Tai Po today with the message that foster dog Zipper will be staying put.  He went to foster initially because he needed surgery for his luxating patellas, and now that he has fully recovered he's already one of the family.  We're all thrilled about that of course, and I'm sure nobody is happier than Zipper himself.

That knee surgery was lucky for Zipper
