I'm typing this on Saturday of course, so when I say "almost there" I'm referring to the weekend, Lunar New Year, and an adoption that kind of took place today but was deferred to the next morning because puppy Gavin had just eaten his dinner. It's never a good idea to feed a puppy just before a car journey.
Lots of people are asking if we'll be open over the Lunar New Year holiday, and the answer is yes, we open every single day of the year, without exception. However, this Sunday we won't be at Whiskers N Paws for the regular puppy party (the store will be closed too), so if you want to meet the puppies please come to our Kennedy Town Centres at Shop 4, Brilliant Court, Sai Hong Lane, 28 Praya Kennedy Town, or 13-19 North Street. It's a five minute walk between the two locations, so we suggest you start at the official Homing Centre at Brilliant Court. We're also open at 22 Elgin Street, Soho, although the Centre is manned by volunteers so any actual adoption will need to be handled online. Please be sure to complete the adoption questionnaire at www.hongkongdogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-questionnaire/ as the volunteers don't have access to this information.

Our big Tai Po Homing Centre is also open throughout, of course, and I hope to have at least one adoption to write about soon, if not several. Doglets Yuri and Yvette have just moved from Whiskers N Paws to Tai Po as our newest recruits, and hopefully as the youngest residents they will have the same luck as just-adopted Liam (who's doing really well in his new home).
