Sun 4th Nov: Two Malamutes down

Russki is young and very big  as well as handsome
As malamute Georgia was leaving for the airport and her flight to Canada, our last remaining malamute Russki was being adopted and will be enjoying a different, but also very happy, life in Hong Kong.

Our new baby recruits are also enjoying life at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre even if they should really be with their mother for a few weeks yet.  We're still in need of foster homes please, so please let Cindy know if you can help.  At this age it's important that the pups have a friend so they need to go in pairs, the exception being the one who has a paw injury as we will need to make sure the bandage isn't chewed.

Jimmy Tsang was the volunteer photographer at Whiskers N Paws, and as always there are too many great shots to be able to show them all so you can see for yourself here   Puppy Adoption Day 4 November 2018
Rose, Pollen and Lotus are always together

One of the three gorgeous sisters was the lucky one today, leaving Rose and Pollen still to go.  I have trouble distinguishing them as they are so alike, so at least from now on there'll only be two to choose from.
With Lotus adopted I only have to recognise two sisters

Doglet Carlo is finally softening a bit, although he still like to think of himself as Mr Cool.  He's allowing me to pick him up and give him a cuddle, and I think he quite likes it although he would never say.  He reminds me a lot of the previous shy dog Olive, who would hang around waiting to be noticed just as Carlo does now.  One day he'll find a home I'm sure, as he's a very handsome shiba inu cross, quiet and independent, just the characteristics so many people seem to want in a dog.
