Sun 2nd July: New ex-breeder dogs

Rufus grows more beautiful every week
Well either the 1st July or the fact that the long school holidays have started may have been the reason why we didn't have any adoptions at Whiskers N Paws, or even any potential homes offered.  Nevertheless I decided to bring all of the puppies from Lamma because they love it so much, other than Rufus who would much rather stay at home.  It's only a foster but of course he thinks he'll be there for the rest of his life. and doesn't see why he has to spend three hours of every Sunday on the terrace of a pet supplies store.  He's almost certainly one of the most noticed and admired puppies due to his unusual fuzzy face, but what most people don't see is his happy and affectionate nature because he just looks bored on a Sunday afternoon.

Jimmy Tsang was our photographer today and you can take a look at the great set of photos here

I love Enzo!
Enzo is another puppy that stands out as being very handsome and unusual, and maybe also because of his long legs and big feet.  I suspect he's going to be quite a big dog as an adult, but also a very special one.

Please remember that you can meet any of the puppies any day of the week by arrangement, as they can very easily be sent over to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre.  Just ask.

Five new dogs arrived at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre from a breeder later in the afternoon, and I was able to make a quick stop to take a look on my way back from Whiskers N Paws to drop off puppy Callum who is going to be staying there.  There are two Jack Russells, two poms, and a tiny little terrier type who I suspect is going to be this week's "must have".  In fact I'm not even going to post a photo of her until all of the dogs have been to the vet and AFCD for Temporary Keeper registration.
Callum has moved to the Ap Lei Chau Centre

If you are interested in any dogs or puppies please complete the Adoption Questionnaire on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com (under Adopt) as a first step.
