Weds 12th April: Yes, it's happening!

To get straight down to what I hinted at in the subject heading of today's post, I'm referring to Peak to Fong, our biggest and much-missed event, which will be back again later this year.  That's a long way ahead I know, but it was good to see the plans already starting, the first of which is confirming the November date.  It's been several years since we were last able to hold such a big gathering, so to remind you all of what you've been missing, here's a video from P2F 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2Vx9xzn2kw.   Of course we'll be looking for sponsors, and you can get in first by emailing events@hongkongdogrescue.com to register interest.

Before that happens we have our Hero Dogs event coming up quite soon, on Saturday 6th May to be exact, and that's going to be a lot of fun for sure. The choice of routes means every dog and their human can take part, regardless of age or fitness, so there's no reason to be left out.

Another fun event which isn't going to affected by the weather is this art workshop taking place on the 23rd April at PMQ in Central.  These painting events are always popular be sure to sign up quickly if you want to attend.

Big thanks to Oscary Art at PMQ for their support - Join us for an Art Jamming Charity Event on 23th April to support HKDR!

Mindy-Bluey is a very lucky pup

Not forgetting the dogs, of course, I have the official adoption photo of Mindy, now called Bluey, and a permanent member of the amazing foster family who have helped so many puppies (on Instagram @why_i_foster). It was inevitable that one of these orphans would stick, but I know it won't make a difference to the continuation of the fostering work, as Bluey will just become the welcomer and three-legged guardian of any future puppies.
