It was Jimmy Tsang's turn again to be the volunteer photographer at Whiskers N Paws, and as always the results are lovely: Puppy Adoption Day 2nd April 2023. Siblings Melody and Mason, who are in a foster home together, have obviously been perfecting their dance routines, beautifully captured by Jimmy and his camera. There are three of these dachshund-cross siblings (the third being Max), and although we had fully expected them to be adopted by now they seem to have fallen into the holiday gap, meaning the period leading up to the big anticipated getaway.
It would be the best ever result if they could go to the same home and stay together, but sadly this is unlikely to be the case. Still, never say never, and if anyone is reading this and would like to meet the pair, please email Cindy at foster@hongkongdogrescue.com to arrange.
The ex-Elgin gang at North Street |
Although there are no adoptions to write about today, we did have quite a few visitors to our two Kennedy Town Centres at Brilliant Court and North Street, as well as the very welcome team of volunteers who have been coming to help with the many puppies who moved over from Elgin Street. At least my top-favourite puppy, Ali, was taken for fostering, so again if you want to meet this totally gorgeous puppy girl please contact Foster Coordinator Cindy to arrange.
Our first big event in many years is now just over a month away, and this will take place in Sai Kung. There are three options for participants in terms of endurance, so everyone can join no matter how fit or active the dogs or humans are. Are you ready for an adventure? Army, Navy or Air Force?
Our next outdoor event, 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝑫𝒐𝒈𝒔 , is coming to Sai Kung on 6 May 2023, and we can't wait to see you there!
Save the date and don't miss out on the chance to be a part of this incredible adventure!
