We are out and about in two places this weekend, with stalls (and dogs) at both The Hong Lok Yuen Country Club Fair and the West Kowloon Freespace Happening, so if you want to drop buy and pick up some great Christmas gifts you know where to come.

It's a traditionally busy time of year, and as well as these events of course I'll be back at Whiskers N Paws with the other Sunday volunteers for the regular puppy afternoon, where there will be quite a few new (puppy) faces as well as those who have been there before. There's so much going on around town and I'm always worried that so many will get left behind, so I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised.

| Pepper has a family to love him now |
There was good news from Ap Lei Chau with the adoption of schnauzer Pepper confirmed and funny boy Rufus being taken for a trial by our volunteer groomers, to whom thanks is due for their help in keeping the little dogs looking neat and tidy. It's not easy when you have so many who need regular trims and a lot of grooming, and breeds like poodles are the worst. In fact when Rufus first came to us from AFCD he was a long-haired scruffy mess, barely visible under all of his hair.
