You could also stop by at the Pop-up store in Sheung Wan for vintage fashion items (second-hand items from local celebrities) AND our exclusive HKDR merchandise from 16th to 19th - make sure you come by to shop and support!
5% of the sales proceeds from vintage fashion items and 100% of the sales proceeds from HKDR merchandise will be contributed to our work of rescuing abandoned dogs and puppies in Hong Kong.
I got the first of the dogs' Christmas gifts today in the form of a big donation of cow hoof chews from Whiskers N Paws, and as hard as I find it to have animal parts in the house (being a decades-long vegetarian and almost-vegan), I love the peace and quiet that suddenly falls when the dogs are too busy munching to bark or argue. So thank you to Whiskers N Paws for a very welcome "Silent Night". Just as a footnote, the Whiskers N Paws Christmas collection runs until the 20th December so any donations towards the dogs and puppies (as well as cats and kittens) would be most welcome.
This lot will keep the dogs quiet for a while |
Another reminder too that although we will be at Whiskers N Paws as usual this Sunday with the puppies, for the following two weekends we will be there on Saturday instead. The store will be closed for Christmas Day and New Year's Day, so please don't turn up hoping to do last minute shopping!
Next two Sundays |
Our tiny newcomer, Yorkie Tiffin, went to a foster home today and hopefully we'll have some good news next week when he goes in for desexing and X-rays. We still don't know what is wrong with him, but he can stand for short periods and seems otherwise fine, but he can't run around or play. If you are interested in adopting please complete the adoption questionnaire on our website www.hongkongdogrescue.com (under Adopt).
