Sun 14th Aug: The summer holidays are over

The fun begins
Despite the gloomy forecasts the rain stayed away for a very busy afternoon at Whiskers N Paws, seeing five puppies adopted as well as Jenna's official paperwork being signed.  I think we have finally come to the end of the slow summer period, which is a great relief when puppies and dogs are the ones who lose out.

The adoption of Jonas was the last one for his litter, with brothers Tim, Wiggle and Jonny having already found their forever homes.  It's funny because I thought Jonas was the loveliest of them all (if I'm allowed to compare), and it was the same with the latest baby litter of Spotty, Lollipop, Tammy and Biggles.  By the end of the afternoon it was only Biggles who was left to go to a foster home, when I had thought he'd be the first to be chosen.  It just goes to show you really never know.

Beautiful Oliver had to move on from his trial home because of human allergies, but luckily he fell right into another lovely home, which will be his last and final one.

Betty was adopted today

Another breeder schnauzer found her forever home after we asked that her foster bring Betty to our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre for the weekend.
