Weds 5th June: Yes we are open EVERY SINGLE day!

Portman (top) and Heather
I'm going to start with happy adoption news including two doubles, puppies Heather and Portman from Tai Po and confirmation of Wallis and Dudley's forever status.  Before anyone else says anything, in the photo of Heather and Portman at home, Heather is wearing the type of harness which only belongs in the bin because it's so easy to slip out of, and the adopter has been informed.  All harnesses must be T-shaped, the front-clip Easywalk style, or the type that is almost like a half jacket and fits snugly.  This is especally important with new dogs that don't know the environment of their home, or those that are going to unfamilar areas, especially country parks.

Baby Dudley back in March
All readers of my blog surely know Dudley, the funny little guy who came as a tiny singleton pup from AFCD and never looked back.  He paired up with lookalike Jenny, who herself is now in a trial home, but it was Wallis who was chosen to be Dudley's forever sister.

Another confirmed foster-to-adoption is puppy Ruby, sister to already-adopted Ernie, also Sadie and Phoebe who are themselves in foster and beautiful girls.
Peppa at Concordia Pet Care last Saturday

French bulldog Peppa was also adopted today, making space for another Frenchie who is due to come to us assuming she actually turns up.

We don't have adoption photos for any of the above, so we'll have to wait for updates from their respective homes.

Just as we had got the many recent new arrivals sorted and settled at our Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre, we will have another intake on Thursday from AFCD.  Two of these are small-sized adults, a young chihuahua and an older poodle (there's always a poodle), with the other nine being a litter of puppies.
