Sun 9th April: Babies and (early) birthday

Although it was an almost non-event at Whiskers N Paws in terms of adoptions it actually worked out perfectly.  Baby Woolly's ex-fosters became his adopters, and the best news of all was that Wigbert didn't come because his foster home had also now become a forever one.  So with two puppies pre-adopted we were free to enjoy a surprise birthday party for me (and this time I really wasn't expecting it) as well as having lots of fun taking photos of the puppies in their various litter groups with a little bit of extra dressing.

The big "B" litter were there: Bruno, Bonzo and Boomer, and seeing them now I'm convinced they are from the same family as the previous Stanley Barracks family of Goofy, Woody and Gumbo.  You can see it most in Bruno as he has the big head and extra jowls, and they are all not only beautiful but also very soft and sweet-natured.  You wouldn't go wrong adopting any one of these boys.

Other groups of three were Coco, Evie and Petra as well as black-and-tan Wallace, Lester and Casper.

One and Two (also called Jazz) are still small, although One is now larger than Two (Jazz) who still reminds me very much of a black pug.  She is in foster and is already out walking, fully toilet trained and an all-round fantastic little dog.

Eric Tang was today's volunteer photographer, and thank you Eric for a great set. Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) added 124 new photos to the album Puppy Adoption Day 9 April 2017 — at Whiskers N Paws

Thanks too for our volunteers who took care of the Big Sale at WOW pet store on Saturday and Sunday.  You can see there was a massive amount of fantastic merchandise available so I hope many of you were able to make the event and stock up on bargains.
