Mon 10th April: Easter-but-forever Bunny

Dusty
I took advantage of the lovely photos taken at Whiskers N Paws yesterday and as a result there are two puppies that will potentially have forever homes soon, although I don't want to get ahead of myself by naming them.  There's no doubt that a good photo really helps, and I'm very grateful to our Sunday volunteer photographers for being there, as well as other volunteers who help promote the Ap Lei Chau and Tai Po dogs. All photos shown here are by Marco Lam, who also helps out at Whiskers N Paws from time to time.

Being a Monday I had to go via AFCD but didn't take any dogs or puppies today, only a rabbit that had been surrendered.  It's a young female and unusual in her colour,  as most of the rabbits I have rescued have been predominantly white.  Of course it's Easter soon and bunnies are for some reason connected, but adopting any animal should be for life.  If anyone is interested in giving this sweet girl a home she is currently at Acorn being desexed.  There is some hair loss which I understand could be due to mites so the rabbit has been treated accordingly.
This bunny needs a forever home too

Although it will be (yet another) holiday weekend coming up, in case you are wondering we will be open as usual, just as we are for every other day of the year.  We will also be at Whiskers N Paws on Sunday, if for no other reason than the puppies have such a great time there, and the socialisation is good for them.
