Lola (and Enzo) need new fosters |
While I'm waiting for the photos of today's Whiskers N Paws afternoon to be posted I will start by asking once again for foster homes for young puppies, or indeed those of any age. Being unable to have the little ones in my own house or garden (thanks to my blind dog being unsafe around them) it's an ongoing problem, and while I was able to make use of the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre when there was space, it's full house at the moment.
On top of that youngsters Lola and Enzo need to move on from their current foster where they have been since they were two week-olds needing to be bottle fed. Obviously they have been brilliantly cared for and are very happy pups, but their time is up as both parents need to return to their full time jobs. Please help if you can: "They are both happy and healthy, very social little things. They love people and our big dogs. Lola is the smaller one, she is more reserved but still quite feisty. Enzo is more chunky and is into everything. I am crossing all my fingers they get adopted quickly!"

Enzo (and Lola) are very used to children |
I'm hoping that with the holiday period finally at an end there will be more temporary homes on offer, and if you can look after a puppy or two until they are adopted please let Cindy know by emailing foster@hongkongdogrescue.com.

Little Two-aka-Jazz |
I wasn't expecting many visitors to Whiskers N Paws but it was actually quite busy, even though only two lucky puppies left with new (trial) families. Two-also-Jazz was one of them, and also sweet Petra.

Some of the bigger and slightly older pups (bit still only four months) were sent to the Tai Po Homing Centre where they have been having some luck in finding homes. Today it was Archie who was chosen, while I'm hopeful that the others won't have to wait too long.
