We also took in the one year-old husky Sabre, one of the few justifiable surrender cases, and again I hope his stay with us will be a short one.
When Sarah came to WNP her foster decided to adopt |

Foster doglet Sarah had her permanent status confirmed after a potential adoption enquiry made the foster parent realise she didn't want to let Sarah go. As much as we love failed fosters, as they're called, it doesn't mean that we expect all foster homes to keep the dogs or puppies temporarily in their care. In fact having regular foster parents who can rotate their charges is important to us, so either way it's perfect.
Many of the puppies that will be coming to Sunday's Whiskers N Paws puppy afternoon are currently in foster homes, including all of the Seasons Litter. Although they're smaller than most of the other puppies they're actually older, it's just that they're going to be small-to-medium adults. As they're a mix, probably with some chihuahua in them, their sizes vary as do their personalities. July is the entertainer, and her energy and confidence contrast with tiny June's, although the foster parent assures me that June and brother Winter are also very playful at home.
July loves her toys |
June is the smallest of the litter |
I'm jumping ahead a bit as I only got the message on Sunday, but puppy Plum seems to have found herself a home so she won't be joining her sisters Ruby, Leila and Adele at the puppy afternoon.
Winner looks to be such a lovely boy. What a wonderful expression he has on his face! XXX
